It's a niche. Depending on if somebody wants one right now it's between unsellable and I'd say 60 euro in Europe and 30-40 USD in the us.

Are cream, dampened Alps switches worth the same as white ones?

Depends on if you can find a buyer at all and afaik they're also in the old AEK2s so I doubt you'll get more than for a broken one of those. Maybe a little for desoldering.

# IBM Model M SSK
ANSI Layout, perfectly working, but a few "strokes" (not sure if that's what I really mean, will post pictures of those) on it.
Otherwise, the keyboard is in pretty good shape. No box.

# Leopold FC200R, MX Red, perfect shape and perfectly working.
No keycap or a set of Black Filco keycaps, with a Ctrl key quite "erased". With box.

# Maybe RealForce 91-UBK, perfect shape and perfectly working. Variable one.
Full set of black keycaps, maybe a CC 3D with it. No box.

The 91-UBK is indeed a Japanese one. I got that from another french forum, the previous owner probably went there and bought it, I don't really know.

Here's a rare one for everyone. I have a Commodore G80-0499HAU that I was thinking of trading but I've never seen a price discussed. Any idea what this rare cherry would be worth?

Commodore is kind of tough, I have one too... the doubleshots are unique color so defineatly some plus there, but the board itself is XT so without mod it's generally unusable. I think it's worth at least $100-150 if it's in good condition as a collectors piece, perhaps more to Commodore collector specifically.

I have seen it sold on Ebay for $30-40, but then again it only pops up rarely, likely to it being an XT keyboard.

Just becuase something sells cheap on ebay dosen't mean it isn't worth considerably more. I had to hold a lot of self control and pass twice on that board when it was listed, and relisted on ebay a couple months ago. I really didn't need more than one of them, but it was a good deal.
That NCR 931 is gorgeous... defineatly would like to add that to my collection.

Thanks lysol, I just noticed that I mis-spelled the model as 0391 in my post, and now have had it corrected.

Actually I just picked up the board recently and it's still on the way to me. When I get it, I can take some photos and send them to you if you are interested.

Assume the condition to great with a touch of wear and the boards are clean?
Grey Label SSK?
Grey Label SSK + boltmod?
Blue Label SSK?
Blue Label SSK + boltmod?
Also how much is an almost excellent condition m13 worth, a good condition industrial black metal logo Model M worth and and a good condition M5-2 with the AT/Serial cable?

I've seen SSKs go for $200 but that was when they were hyped. Now I'd say $100 is more reasonable. I've never noticed anybody who cared about the label.

People are usually not willing to pay much extra for a bolt mod, maybe +30 or so. Doesn't pay to do it afair.

M13 probably somewhere around $80.
Industrials about the same I'd say.

The M5-2 I don't recall any being sold but frankly the trackball is completely useless which makes them basically collectors only so I doubt you'll get much more than for a regular M.


All those prices assume that you DO NOT find that one nut that is willing to pay an insane price for it. You may of course get lucky.



EDIT: BTW I find auctioning a perfectly acceptable way to sell an item that you're having trouble putting a price tag on. So if you're selling, you can just do that. If you're buying and you want to know what they're worth you're doing it wrong. Pay what they're worth to you regardless of resale value. Anything else would be speculation and it is annoying.

I am willing to buy 6 SSK's from a friend for $70 each shipping included. I think that's good. I just want to know if there was any difference in bolt modding or the blue label due to people being conserned about blue label M's being lower quality. Last time an SSK sold on Ebay Aus it went for about $188 dollars but that was a few months ago.
