Glad I managed to get it. I was actually out unexpectedly when it ended, so it's a good job I set my snipe software last night!
I got it for less than I expected it to go for.. I actually offered the seller more than this in private, so it's a good job he didn't take it!

Well, I earned it, and I have nothing else to spend it on..
I don't think it's too much to spend for such a rare* and beautiful keyboard.. I was actually prepared to pay nearly twice the ending price.
*While I know of one Chinese collector who has at least one Greek ANSI dyesub set, this is absolutely the only Schneider one I've seen with those irregular mod legends.

The keycaps don't even look especially great to me. Not to mention they're MX mount. Yuck!

I didn't say it like it was a bad thing
While money can help with getting the rarest birds, they also can make the hobby more ... "chronic", so to speak.

Grats, dude! The second you mentioned your max bid to me admist our keyboard chit chat, I knew you were going to be the one to run away with this one!
Do you plan on just collecting this one, or slapping the caps on something else?

The worst part? We had the same conversation, photekq and I, and I was half expecting someone else to outbid him!

Sort of expensive for Futabas, but the MX compatible doubleshot keycaps are fun. I think some of the legends are purple!

Oh yeah! I hadn't looked at the switch enclosure closely, only the stem.

I know some of you will roll your eyes - but the Thailand made Dell Quietkey is a very good rubberdome.
This is the first time I've seen a NOS all black Thailand origin QK on Ebay:
