Computing in the 80ties, man. Somewhere halfway the 60ties / 70ties and now on the free love vs sexist misogynist scale.

However, not a single nice keyboard to be seen.
That's because the employees took them and only left the crap behind.

It's mostly pictures of the wifes/girlfriends. That's how they look over there.
Nope! Trying to talk the average Scots lassie into posing in an outfit like that is a great way to endanger your future reproductive capability…
They're just lads' mags, a classy typically 1990s thing. Must have been a den of brogrammers.

Fairly cheap Omnikey, White Alps. What interests me is the arrow cluster -- is that an LED window I see in the up arrow? I wonder what linear they stuck in there if it is...

That's cheap for white alps ? Is there a different price level in the US ?

The switch isn't what matters in an Omnikey (though some "Gold Label" versions have Blue Alps). They're desirable for their heavy, durable case and thick steel backplate.
I usually see White Alps Omnikeys go for $60 - $90. (Correct me if my perception of the market is wrong.)

Mhm thanks for the insight, makes sense. Sounds like some old chicony boards with nice sturde steel plates with Cherry MX switches.

That makes the average Scots lassie more desirable, don't it?
Gotta love a woman who respects herself.

Not sure if those will be genuine complicated ones tbh. I know later Omnikeys used simplified switches and clones, especially the Avant version.
Someone mentioned to me a long time ago what the LED in the up arrow key was for but I forgot. It's weird though innit? XD

On the other hand I managed to pickup a good deal from japan the other day

I wasn't really looking for this keyboard, but for 50 bucks I am willing to give it a change maybe sell it if I don't like it. I haven't seen alot on this particular board in this forum though wonder if it is worth the money I paid.

Couple of MY "switches" sticking out. Let me know if anyone is trying to get this, I'll bag try to bag it in otherwise. Not too eager but eh... Why not.

the 1000 can also be G81 (doubleshots are certain though)

Matias boards are good, but the forum here tends towards vintage gear instead of the modern stuff.

How certain? I don't see it.
Few Intellimice, too, decent mice if you want 400 dpi. Most other "cheap" mice are way too fast (>1000 dpi), and lack buttons.

I'm just seeing a whole lot of MY and lasered caps, though the pictures aren't very telling and I'm not a Cherry expert.

the intellimice would give you back £20 or so alone
