Slick. I don't know what you've got in for W, but it works.
I'm not out of ideas, or keyboards, or even caps yet. I'll shoot more when I'm back home again.

It's a white KBDRUNNER!
I thought it would fit there seeing as I like to play games and W is forward. I have no idea why I ordered that row KBDRUNNER though, but it was over a year ago so I'll forgive myself.

I have received! I'll take some better photos later, in the light and with a real camera.

Very excited to see the cappening. Do you guys received any tracking info?

Webwit, that looks divine. Was there a legend'd Ergodox set, or was blank the only route to go?

I have an HONEY/ERGO and HONEY/ERGOBASE in my order, so I guess there are legend'd sets.

Those two are both blank as well. All the ErdoDox sets are blank.

Ah ok, the Ergo Dox mirror cap seems pretty neat as well.

This thread is making things difficult for my wallet. Any chance of seeing more of the red, Muirium? Like a red mods + grey combo?

I do like the look of this little 40%.

Although to be fair I haven't gotten around to actually getting a cable out of it to put it in use yet…

Now I've got the caps, I'd best get on with it.

Pretty sure I could match this properly if I pull them off the various boards I've got covered already.

Split spacebar: left side destroys.

Never too many function layer keys. 40% ensures you'll truly need them.

The Hyper looks amazing! Lovely little thing. Can't wait for mine!

I like the layout for your Hypermicro. I should get back in on it.

Great pictures Muirium, the best ones I've seen from you so far! Gorgeous, I am happy that I am deep into Round 5 and also can't wait until I get mine...
I'd really like to have a Hypermicro but it must have Bluetooth! I think it is the most important feature a small keyboard should have. I am always thinking about the 40% PCB from GONs Keyboardworks.

Thanks. Perhaps you, like my keyboards, were just getting bored of my scuffed up old IKEA desk?
A Bluetooth Hypermicro woud be insanely good. I'd love to see someone take up that challenge!

Thanks Muirium! The red & grey looks as good as I feared... I may have to extend my R5a order once again...

Everything! The lightning, the Beer, the POV, the caps, and all.

Root beer. (Nice Aussie stuff.) I'm not hitting booze again until I'm off the painkillers…
The POV and lighting is actually thanks to my tree. I planted a hazel (I think) in the corner behind those chairs after it had been torn out of the ground as a youngster, by a neighbour. One leaf held it on through the hard winter of 2010. Taken a few years to get its roots in, but this summer it's gone wild and I've a nice leafy canopy out there.

You have a garden, nice! I think I was in your street, on Google Street View sometimes ago. Stalking after getting a package! Could have been also a wrong address, to prevent such things.

My garden is artfully concealed. I don't think Goofle knows about it. Edinburgh is a place of many alleys, neuks and secrets.

Very nice pictures Muirium, I love the black and red combo as much as the Hypermicro.

Thanks. I haven't opened all my kits yet. Requests are still welcome!
I did deck the G80-3000 in a nice outfit but it turned gloomy today so pictures can wait. Cloudy and wet is how we do summers here. Fortunately, if you're not into continental heat!

I love that Hyper-Micro. I imagine once 7bit emerges from the enormous amount of Round 5 we might see those PCBs shipped!
Grey and Red combo looks great too.

So, red, huh?

- Overview.jpg (255.54 KiB) Viewed 20694 times
I showed this to a non-keyboarding friend, and he immediately pointed — Donald Sutherland style — and wailed: "
BBC Micro!!"

- Right Oblique.jpg (387.19 KiB) Viewed 20694 times
Well, a negative variant I suppose. Reverse Micro?

These caps really do change the
G80-3422LAMIT for the better. Some of you may like your caps slung low, Cherry style, but I'm a tall spherical guy, no contest!

So pleased I talked 7bit into going for the red alphas in the first place. Originally, Round 5 was going to be a simple, single colourway. White alphas, grey mods, and a handful of extras in red and black. That changed when we added reds, at first as an all row 3 flat profile. Soon enough we had everything available in everything, and so went the epic wait for the maximised version of Round 5.

Damnit, I need more ANSI boards… no, no, Nooooo!!!

Those caps are truly gorgeous. I did not think that those SA caps are that nice, I love that vintage touch! What is also nice, that MX switches feel I think much more "mature", but I only tried browns and blacks so far.
Unfortunately I did not have time to to play with color combinations, and also some other keyboards have to be outfitted with Round 5 caps. First of all I go with a white set and a red RETURN.
I *love* the somewhat wonky caps, like the Ä, Ü and also the differences of line widths. For example the 3 is much thinner than the 4, but that's great!
The font type in general is perfect, and fits to the SA profile. Vintage as its best!

Ah, white mods. I've been keeping those aside for later combos. Snow White is a great look. Does 7bit have any extra red Returns I wonder…
I also like the shot with all the unusued kits surrounding your board. That's the Round 5 experience all right!

I love the white mods! Now I am back in MX business, and want to outfit my unloved 60% keyboard, and a Cherry G81 keyboard, full sized with ANSI layout.
Muirium wrote: I also like the shot with all the unusued kits surrounding your board. That's the Round 5 experience all right!
Yep, so many packages, so many options, and the best of it: all options look great! It is a timeless set, well chosen colours!
