I guess the delay has been caused by that 7bit dude. He squeezed too much stuff inside the small bag.

phetto is so over-overwhelmed by the contents, that he can't post anymore and must stare at the contents all day and all night. Someone should drive up to him and press the reset button ...

According to the tracking the parcel hasn't been picked up so far at the post office, it's sitting there since the 16th.
Though, I don't know if it just didn't update properly...

Heh. I sent something to the Keyboard Company, and a couple of weeks later or more, when it was back on my desk at work, Royal Fail still listed the outgoing parcel as being in their system undergoing delivery. From their records, it was never delivered at all.

That was back in April. From the tracking number, "Item XB…74GB was posted … on 05/04/13 and is being progressed through our network for delivery."

Yep, they still have my parcel from April. Apparently. Lying toads. (It seems that there isn't a "woop woop" flagger for items that don't appear to be going anywhere. "Item XB…74GB was posted … on 05/04/13 and fell into the Vortex of the Black Hole. Play again?")

Well, I can assure you I really sent off the package

Rumors say, phetto was in Amsterdam and he had no food for 4 days ...

Can't believe this..... Really.....

How hard can it be to pass on a small package

Strange that phetto would do something dodgy.
He still idles in IRC and he comes online on facebook often so I'm surprised to hear about this...

He pm'ed me that he did not get it.


My guess: It is on the way back to Acanthophis ....

Either DHL fucked up or he did.
Not getting a parcel from the post office after 14 days usually sends it back..

How to proceed?

Me personally, I would'nt want to send it to phetto again.
Despite the possibility the post carrier didn't inform him, he still had the tracking ID + link from the beginning.
Carelessness of phetto lead to the return of the package.

Take something out, photograph it, put something in, ship to the next in line ...

I know I'm waaaay too late, but if it's back in Germany now anyway, maybe I can spontaneously jump in at this point and at least spare Acanthophis the annoyance of sending the package internationally twice?

As a fellow recent jumper in line, I'd be hypocritical indeed to oppose. Besides, anything smart to get this moving again is a fair idea.

My suggestion to speed this up:
Acanthophis->Halvar->Hoggy->Muirium->...
