and obviously also 1u mods are rather sought after.
Not to mention the 1u numpad 0.

And, of course, the 1.75 right shift key.

He's offered me similar counsel in private, too. I fear he does not know me well! Silence just is not my style.

@Mu, I was sceptic towards the 1800-layout for a long time, but I've warmed to it recently. Actually I've turned around to really liking it. About as wide as a TKL, but with all the keys of a full size.

Oh this happens Wodan and is a part of any online community. After spending enough time at DT you know who dislikes who's habbits and when the shit starts...this was relativley harmless. Too bad our canadian sailor isn't around too often anymore...

This particular occasion was a little different. I was asking people why that hairbrained layout in ABS is apparently worth something. And I worded my question as I'd actually ask it, with insufficient humbleness for you! But I'm at my best/worst when I truly have no idea that I have no idea. Which is often!

The 1u keys could be used in these ways (just the tip of the iceberg) :
