I very much did enjoy it. I love all the insight you put into these videos. The history, known issues, and comparisons.
Please keep making these

I hope to keep making one every other week - as long as I can get enough keyboards of course xD .
Glad you enjoyed it

Nice review! Thanks for the typing demo, I've wondered how these sound.
It's dye-sublimated btw, not sublimed, I think.

This. We should have a corner on the main page.

Hahaha I don't think I'd have enough keyboards to sustain that for very long mate xD . I'd happily keep doing reviews as much as I can though, it just depends on how many keyboards I can get

. It's interesting; I get a lot more responses to my reviews on this site than I do on GH (probably has to do with site demographics).

Yeah they sound quite interesting. One thing I didn't put into the video; when you press a button, you can actually hear all the springs in the keyboard rustle in the M2. Obviously in the Model M this isn't an issue.
As for sublimed or sublimated; yeah, I wasn't sure either, but I just looked it up on a few verb conjugation websites and it would appear that "sublimed" is the correct one (e.g.
http://www.the-conjugation.com/english/verb/sublime.php).

I already have a video review on a Fujitsu Peerless and AEK/AEKII, if you're interested

Any chance you can create a thread where the first post is a list of all of the reviews you have done? That, and/or keep the Wiki current by updating it with your videos?

I have little experience with wiki coding so I'm a bit afraid to dig into there - besides, these are just my opinions, of course

. I'll make a thread outlining all my video reviews now - if you guys think it'd be a good idea maybe someone could sticky it

.

I feel your pain re: the wiki. I find editing the thing as anxiety inducing as whenever I touch code. Not because it'll break and catch fire (as code does) but because when I preview anything I've done it looks like shit. There's some manual code of style to editing (and especially creating new pages in) wikis that you must internalise. But as a total raving incompetent at anything that isn't laid out in English, I can't see it for the tags.
As for a sticky: nope. Not for a single user's work. But I could support a reviews index. Something like Matteo's Workshop Threads of Interest, for reviews instead. Every half decent review thread could be linked there, ordered by subject.

Great review as always, my only criticism would be that the M2 wasn't exclusively a cheaper keyboard, but also to fulfill a smaller form factor. If you recall, the M2 was released as a redesign
specifically for the PS/1 systems and actually borrowed from the PS/55 5576-003 keyboards (which are very similar in profile).
The PCjr already had a
far cheaper design than the M2, of which its 5576-003 heritage was already operating in Japan since 'regular' Model Ms were just
too bulky. And the M2 form factor was ultimately used on the M15 as well--you wouldn't be able to market a split Model M as ergonomic since the profile is pretty 'generous'
