Ok, ok. I've already got another amazing HP keypad with Mouse Trap switches, but this one is cool for a different reason (beyond the case metal case, and sexy colour scheme).

HP smartened up with this keypad and used (I think) aluminium sliders instead of molded plastic. Extremely sturdy.

In case you haven't come across it already, there is an interesting article on the HP labs website that explains what this keyboard is used for: it is an input device to the HP 5360A computing counter. https://www.hpl.hp.com/hpjournal/pdfs/I ... 970-03.pdf

The keyboard is basically a device for presenting programs or sequences of instructions to the computing counter, and for entering numerical data. The keyboard has memory for data and programs, and has the ability to make comparisons, and perform program looping and branching.
