Has anyone here used KODI to eliminate their cable or satellite subscription?
https://kodi.tv/
I would appreciate hearing about any successes or failures.
What about special paid services, such as the sports subscriptions?
Apparently it also works in the UK/EU?

I used f for 2-3 years but switched to Plex as it better fits my needs.
My mother tried to use it but the interface is/was to overloaded and confusing. Plex on the other hand is pretty simple.

I thought the question was about live TV over IP, right?
I'm using Kodi for my media collection, but not for live TV yet. As I understand you, what you would need would be some kind of IPTV provider like Zattoo, and a fitting plugin for Kodi, like the Kodi Zattoo Addon

I think YMMV greatly with the IPTV service, your internet connection and other parameters. For me, Zattoo does work in a web browser, but streams are not always coming through undisturbed. It may be very different for you.
