Nomination rules:
Use this category to name the best input device photo in 2016. A new rule set is in place.
1̶.̶ ̶P̶h̶o̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶u̶b̶m̶i̶s̶s̶i̶o̶n̶s̶ ̶m̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶p̶o̶s̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶u̶s̶e̶r̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶e̶n̶d̶o̶r̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶a̶n̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶c̶h̶ ̶n̶o̶m̶i̶n̶e̶e̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶t̶u̶s̶.
2. You cannot nominate yourself o̶r̶ ̶s̶e̶c̶o̶n̶d̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶o̶w̶n̶ ̶p̶h̶o̶t̶o̶s̶.
3. Images must have a title and attribution.
4. Photos must show, at least in part, a mechanical keyboard or input device.
5. No more than 3 images may be submitted in a single post.
6. You should only submit photos posted after Thursday 3 December, 2015.
7. After submission, no changes can be made to an image.
Grounds for disqualification and reconsideration:
Temporary disqualification of an image will occur if rule 3 or 5 is disregarded. After editing a post to fix issues you must notify the topic owner so he/she will review your post. Permanent disqualification of an image will occur if rule 1, 2, 4, 6, or 7 is not met.

I think sometimes it's easier to put up some photos and have people choose. I probably have a couple of decent photos and I really like lots of the banner pics but it's hard to pick three and post them. There are lots of good pictures here at DT.

Between Snuci, HaaTa, small collection of others (and Seebart's ability to create a banner from nothing, but can't be nominated)... This category is wrapped up unless someone has an outside flyer. Maybe Snuci, HaaTa, etc. post what they think is their best?!? Turn this one into a "self nomination without shame". Otherwise I think we miss out on the caliber of pictures this category should present. As others have posted, there are just too many "good" pics coming out of DT year after year
EDIT: Sidenote... I am still absolutely in LOVE with DMA's photo when fighting through Capsense PAIN!!!. This says to me, "I'm about to throw in the towel!!!"

Just to clarify, you aren't limited to three submissions total. Only 3 submissions per post. You can make multiple posts so long as they meet the other requirements.
Edit: because this is going so slow, here's a nomination. It can serve as an example. And something to beat.

Does someone remember how to view all of the banners? I only usually take pictures for illustration purposes and don't get fancy but there are a banner or two that came out nice and I think the Canon Cat banner was the only picture I took that was "artful".

Beardsmore sums it up nicely... I love looking at these. We take great pics here, but should take better ones of our GREAT boards. It's the new stuff that gets all the new nice pics. We don't bother with the GON NerD60, IBM 3279-c, Cherry G81, etc. because we think everyone knows about them already. Occasionally we should just have photo sessions of the greats as owners. Others would appreciate I think. Personally adding a calendar entry for mid-March '17. Not to win anything, but to have the pics out there.

You are right, the boards deserve more. I try my best with the only camera I have and no fancy light gear. I have only one spot in my house where the light is almost perfect and the background gives a nice contrast.
