Today we look at the Battleship M, the M brother of the F122, and the older version of the "battlecruiser" M122. Hope you enjoy the video! :)

I thought you did this one already. Or was that the Model F 122 key?

Another great review! Thanks, Chryos!

I have a unicomp 122 made in 2003 with the "AFFIRMATIVE" branding that I use as my daily driver at my office. Are the square metal label 122s the only battleships made? Or does there exist some blue/grey label 122s that are also the longer variant? Before this video I didn't think there was a difference in length, just small case design differences.

That was an F122, quite a different beast.

To my knowledge there have never been oval badge fullsize battleships - all the longer ones were square badge and the shorter ones oval badge.

Since you love to confuse people, you should show off that 122+keypad set-up more :)

And BTW, no mention of KRO issues on M122?

Apparently, the matrix is designed badly, and you can easily run into KRO issues with modifiers, at least more easily than in a regular model M. But I don't know of any problematic combos from the top of my head.

I see. No, I didn't really have any issues tbh.

Nice review. Model Ms with a 'Made in Netherlands' stickers are refurbished units, IBM did not have a keyboard factory in the Netherlands.

Yeah, all the European ones came from Greenock AFAIK, so that makes sense :) .
