Wow just got this the for the first time trying to upload a .gif:

I checked the code, phpBB does this when your attachment claims to be something by extension, such as .gif, but has a different mime type such as html or script.

OK I really don't need to upload anything like that anyway. Actually I should cut down on .jpg's too.
