Why is it only open to people in the USA?

Because international shipping is expensive, slightly risky, and time consuming. My boss isn't willing to shoulder those things because the majority of our readers are US-based.

Edit: I don't think it's a bad decision, to be clear. At one point our readership was 70% US-based. The demographics are changing, though, so there's a good chance that the CONTUS policy will change in the coming months. I'll just have to make an excellent case for it.

you could simply state that outside the US one would have to pay for shipment, i personally never mind.
As long as the value on the package is like $10 and says gift. i absolutely hate having to pay 32% on top of everything i buy
outside the bloody EU.

i like the site and read it so i guess i'm the low 30% minority ..hmm so that's how it feels..

btw i'm not in to full size boards anyway so hope someone wins that likes it.. i'm more of a FC660C/M layout kind of guy.
