Hi! I've been trying to get hold of a decently priced ssk for ages and I keep failing, or worse, I keep seeing them go for around 180 bucks on Us ebay, but that would kill me in import fees.

Is there anyone willing to part with an ssk in no-matter-what-condition for around that price shipped to Italy?

I hope this message won't be seen like a desperate attempt at obtaining a desirable object for cheap, I just want to pay what I can for something that clearly can be obtained at that price, just not that easily this side of the globe.

Well, I’ve got one in need of a good bolt mod. It was in pole position to be my Model MF, but lot_lizard’s been set back and I do have 3 of the damn things after all!

Am I the only one around here who prefers the M's "thock" sound to the F's ping?

A Model M in prime condition is a joy in its own right. It’s just that the F is, well, like what Groucho Marx said: “Redheads are just like other women, only more so.” Model F is more intense, more fierce, and more proud to be what it is: springs buckling in submission! Model M is a bit softer, a bit more polite, but still a close relation.
