The IBM SSK is such a great keyboard, but there is only one person selling it. is anybody willing to sell/know about a listing for an SSK for $200 USD or less?
This is a repost because the old one was just talking about the word "based."

Really, does talking about based bother you?

Maybe it's based on a misunderstanding

Look, man. Judging a person by their username is pretty low tier etiquette.

Main mouse: Logitech proteus spectrum
Typical topre hater using an entry level mouse. Get on my spaceball level then come talk to me about keyboards.
Pic related, it's my based pointing device

cherry isn't actually
that bad, I just couldn't think of a username. The only problems I have with cherry switches are that they are very scratchy and have lots of key wiggle, and that some of their switches have basically no feel to them

Increasing the number of threads won't make sellers magically appear. If you're serious about this, you have to have patience, and just bump this thread periodically in the future (once every few days, say). If you're lucky, you'll get your keyboard. Just like the rest of us.

It took me 2 years to get a blue Alps keyboard (back then they were rare but cheap, today they are much easier to find but much more expensive).
Waiting a year and a half I eventually got a great deal on an SSK from Cindy.

Yep, when looking for sought-after used keyboards, diligence and patience are required. It might also be necessary to settle for a keyboard that is in relatively bad shape and yet salvageable.
