A genuine Cherry oldie that I showed in a recent TDXL this week; these are some very surprising foam and foil switches! Hope you enjoy the video! :)

I've always been intrested in quirky enter keys. The board peaks my interest as I didn't even know Cherry made foam and foil switches. And that spacebar its HUUUUUGE!

Haha yeah, 9.75 u long! Admittedly, that was pretty standard in those days xD . The longest I've ever seen was a full 10 u long, which I have on a few boards.

Great review as always, and a very interesting piece of Cherry history :)
Would you say that this is the best foam and foil board that you've tried?

Shame that you can't easily use it, sure would make I nice daily driver. Too bad that its missing that one Alt keycap. Is the mount just like a 90° rotated Alps mount or is there something else thats different? Are there any other keycaps with similar mount that might be compatible?

the G80-0414 is the cherry MX variant, it's really not the same board.

I'm fairly sure that the flipout feet looked like this back then:
