this kit was purchased here on DT, I only took out the keys in excitement for a new build...that never happened and most likely never will, I think the keys have never been used or mounted really (you'll have to excuse my messy rearrangement in the original box : ) and I'm lowering a fair amount from my original purchase.

I would have loved the trade if my build was still going, but for now I just would like to recoup some of the money spent.

Are these from round 1 or 2?

I believe round 1, and I haven't spotted any bold printed key so far.

Is that a Seiko watch? Also round number should be printed on the boxes. But it's round 1 for sure, since the /dev/tty blue key is visible

there's the special edition blue key. it should read /dev/tty0 (=R1)

That is indeed my seiko5 watch, best watch for the bucks you can find, built the same since the 70s, just like the keyboards we love : D

I'm attaching here two images to check for issues with the keys, I can't spot any.

I'm interested - as I'd love to try out the profile, but have a couple o' questions.

1. There's no currency specified, is it safe to assume USD?
2. Would you (or anyone else?) happen to know market availability for the UK kit? I'd need to locate one to complete it.
3. You mentioned that you didn't see any overinked legends (so far). How is the legend alignment? I've read of people's concerns for R1.

This may well have been overblown by the community, but could you provide some additional shots?

1) currency in euros, totally forgot : )
2) no idea, I'm surprised this kit with all these keys doesn't come with the uk extras actually
3) I did not know alignment was affected on this one, and I wouldn't know how to check aside from those pictutes? I won't be able to swap a whole keyboard with the keys as I'm left with just one cherry I currently use and one model M.

As it happens the second set of pictures you posted have allayed the alignment fears.

I'll take my chances on finding the UK kit.

If you're happy to ship to the UK, consider them sold.

Yeah, I also have that watch (the green version), that's why I spotted it in the first picture

Adrian, sorry to have triggered regret. I knew regret would have set in if I hadn't acted.

If anyone happens to read this post sale, I'm keen to locate both a UK kit and, if possible, a colemak & dvorak kit.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

Heya I sold an international kit to AJM so if it's anything you could use from there I think he will be happy to help, as he's using only the DE stuff. Also he may have only 1 key from colemark or something as the set I sent him seemed to have +1 key

I was already thinking of offering it, but I don't think it's worthwhile, because the UK kit and the International kit have only 2 keys in common:
3/£ (that one I can offer)
2/" (that one I need for my German layout)

The key "J" (row 2) from the Colemak&Dvorak kit I can also gladly give away, if it's any help.

Thanks for the response fellas!

@AJM - many thanks for offering the odd keys, but as you said, it's probably not worth it.

It transpires that I'll be looking for the UK and extra mods kits as priority, with Colemak/Dvorak as a nice to have.

I'll put up a WTB in due course but will leave this here just in case anyone happens to notice it passing by on spy.
