DataSaab keyboard from an old Alfaskop 3700 terminal

For sale, old Datasaab keyboard with the famous Clare-Pendar SF 5101 switches. Keyboard is in good condition, but if the keyboard still works is unknown, probably a smarter guy than me can test that and use the keyboard
. Found this on my attic and don't know what to do with it. I did some research and asked some people and in the end I ended up here for selling the keyboard.
At an old swedis forum I got a reaction from the designer from the keyboard, this was what he said:
"The keyboard was designed by me at the time. The key-swiches were using a Reed-element which were operated via the key which were holding a small magnet. The keyboard had a built in loudspeaker which gave a click-sound at each keystroke, to simulate the sound of a traditional typewriter, as a feedback. The keyboard was the first Stansaab keyboard designed with a LSI-circuit. These keyboards were produced in several thousend units and were very reliable.

From another person, I heard that this keyboard was well known to smoke a bit when used heavily. This was caused by RIFA that was beneath the keyboard, however, this was not unhealthy and the keyboard did not get broken due to this. Don't know much about that, but it is a funny detail.
I don't know what to do with the keyboard further, so I decided to sell it. Here in the Netherlands not many persons want to have this keyboard, so I decided to make an add here, hopefully with more success
. If you interested or just want more information, I'd like to hear from you!![Image]()
