I would have posted a full Mod explanation here but I felt obligated to post it at GH since I got the idea there.
The post is here:

Long story short:
This one has all clears except the top row (reds) and black doubleshots:

This one has all reds except for a clear space bar switch and gray num lock switch (for lulz):

This way you'll never get access to the hidden elite section of deskthority where we hand out free custom tenkeyless keyboards with Cherry MX Red switches.

Update: KL Kustom 2 now has nearly all vintage blues (thanks Ascaii!). Mod post is updated and I'm liking the blues a LOT! They are now my second favorite switch (first favorite is the modded clears). After that, Cherry MX Reds and Topre kind of share 3rd place.
Question: Any suggestion to make these boards feel more solid? Is it possible to fit a metal plate inside or even some other material underneath the PCB or otherwise? Or maybe a different case would help? Just looking to make these the best kustom boards possible!

You could always try sixty's G81 backplate mod.

Think the G81 plate might not fit wiith the new case, though I have not fully tried it.
