I think we all have experienced at least one fail from mail services. I just got a epic one from posteitaliane.
I just received a small envelope containing some stabilizers... the ones I sent to off some days ago!
I thought the mail was returned to me because of the wrong address. No.
Turns out italian postmen just don't understand the difference between TO and FROM!!!

I just got an enveloppe with a card attached stating 'we're sorry something happened to your letter, probably during our processing' which was quite obvious looking at the enveloppe; it had about a third ripped clean off, real funky. no clue if the important parts of the letter are still readable though.
whack ascii pictorial:
Code: Select all
normal letter enveloppe:
_____

this letter enveloppe:
__.

I forgot to mention that I had paid the full postage to the Netherlands, while my address is on the same way of the post office, about 100 metres down the road! They had to admit their mistake and send my envelope again for free this time.

I got an envelope once for christmas....
Inside should have been 100€ and a Card, inside was 65€ and a Postit with a big fat written "Sorry".
I also got an apology letter for missing mail, it came with the letter that was supposedly missed.
But thats not bad, just stupid...

As there is NO other feasible explanation for this, YES....
I mean honestly i was happy that i still got 65€, but i would have been a happier man if they added a line ON my christmas card something like: "im sorry, but i really needed the money. Have a nice christmas".
Definitely one of the wierder things that happened to me.

Maybe, one day, you get a christmas card with 35 EUR inside.
I don't send money often but when I do, I copy our office ceiling twice and fold the bank note into it, such that it does not shine through.

I thought it was forbidden to send money in an envelope. Anyway, this wouldn't have happened in Italy: they know what they're doing here. They would only steal the whole amount!
