I was wondering if I remove the tall + on the 5251 if I would be able to add two switches and use three 1u keys instead of the tall 3u +? Does the pcb have traces to those pads? Also, has anyone replaced the dummy switch in the spacebar top make it even clicklier?

Ignore me. I took a look the PCB and there's no traces.

You can make a new pcb pretty easily though if you have the right knowledge
