Have you hit the leather keycap?
The possibility of leather + keycap is reached

FILCO minila-r leather keycap

The keycap of this keyboard can be detached
I wanted to try it out
Today there is finally a preliminary proofing

There are many types of leather colors, soft and hard.
The current practice uses laser engraving, and the size is a bit smaller than the original setting
The edges are blackened and burnt. If there is a chance for mass production, a knife mold will be used to make the texture better

Trial version only standard size
Take the time to make other sizes to make it complete

I don't need to say more about the feel of leather.
Just comfortable~~~

The issue with organic material like leather is sweat. After a hot summer those kescaps will be shiny greasy and deformed.

Leather can show these real usage conditions
You can also use leather care cleaners for maintenance
Presents different styles according to usage conditions

“Real usage conditions” like key shine! The very thing many of us try to avoid when buying classic keyboards.

Those look really nice.
As far as durability is concerned it won't be the best, but compared to some other keyset there (like the TEX ADA set on your other board) it'll do reasonably well.

I've had good luck with laser etched PBT, but lasered black POM often grabs dirt and the white legends turn brown.
