Small victories in mechincal keyboard tinkering

I ordered some Gazzew U4T switches for my Royal Kludge RK96 keyboard. It came with their own brand of yellow linear switches. I am not a fan of linear switches and wanted something tactile. Many people recommend the Boba U4T. Well, Gazzew replaced the Boba U4T with the Gazzew U4T, which has a newer housing that doesn't yellow.
I ordered the 65g RGB model, and they arrived yesterday. I replaced all the swithes and only bent ONE switch pin. A new personal victory for me.
I'm glad keyboards now have hot swappable switches. But I really don't like the connector. I would really prefer something that snaps in a lot easier and doesn't have 2 small pins that can easily bend.
