The woman next to me knows more about this sport you call football than I do but I think England will beat the Ukraine even though nobody has made a goal.

Who IS going to win the whole thing?

The Ukraine coach looks like a real whiner.

And why has soccer become like football?
All the hitting, tapping, pulling, pushing, shoving, holding, hanging, spitting, ankle-kicking, etc...
only the faking part is probably still unique.

Both sports where one and the same originally. At some moment in history, they split up: Those who prefered it to be more brutal continued with rugby, the others who wanted it more technical carried on with football. The rules where made by the British Football Association and had been called association football to make clear it is football wity these rules. This had been shortened to soccer.

GO GREECE!

I like Greek philosophy better than those Nihilists....
In our country we like this game with tall African Americans and a metal hoop.

Well, those questions certainly are just as silly as back in Germany, but that guy is pretty articulate. I like that. Guess that comes from not having too many balls bump your head couple of times a day.

Let's just say LeBron learned a few things about putting his foot in his mouth.

Congratulations Merkel and the rest of her team! Keep those Greeks under control!
