Hope for geekhack recovery - Warrick

I just found yesterday a program called warrick that can recovery lost websites that had no backups using cached and archived pages. This is perfect for GH. However the servers are full and cannot do online requests but can do have a download for Unix/ Linux but none for Mac or Windows. So maybe someone that has Linux could try this out.

If someone else doesn't get a chance to I can give it a shot later tonight most likely. I can either start up a new VM instance of Linux or just spin up a new server at Rackspace.

If it runs on Unix it should be able to work on OS X.

the google cache and wayback machine were actually the first places we went looking for the lost attachments. they have not been indexing the attachments, though, so i'm afraid we're probably SOL, but happy to give this a try to see what it can pull up.
