Counter for pressed keys per day

I wanna know how many keys I press per day or at least how many characters I type per day.
Could you recommend something for Win(7)? I googled around for it last winter but company AV software went berzerk
Can Workrave do this?

I just use whatpulse and set it to pulse every time it shutdowns. Then you can check your stats on the website.

Thanks, I'm giving it a go now! It says something like this during installation: "Have you ever wondered how much you type in a day? Well WhatPulse is an answer!"

Any other suggestion that is opensource, works on linux, and doesn't use an unreachable cloud (self hosted is fine however)?
Or will I have to hack something myself together.
