cant reach the site anymore

It's been down for quite a long time now. I don't know the reason why either.

I used that site quite a bit to look a HQ pics of boards.Shame. Maybe archive.org has cached copies of it.

speaking of keyboardp0rn, I haven't seen sixty either for quite some time. Is he allright?

Yes, it's been a long time since I saw him around here. I hope he's just busy

Sixty is offline because of some serious issues in his personal life. I don't know when he will be back.

He didn't write as much as he used to lately but he has been some months off so it seemed something happened. Best luck for him in anything he may be into.

keyboardporn was the first keyboard website I ever browsed, found a link from there to here and wallethack.

It basically got me into keyboards.

I have a feeling that it's probably more serious than a monetary problem, otherwise sixty would still at least be hanging around here.

If that is the case though, I am happy to donate to get keyboardporn back up and running.

Agreed, I would definitely be on board to help host the site. Sadly, I have the feeling Sixty will be offline for a while.

I have spare server space to help host.

He contacted me earlier this week and told me he will get back. Domain name expired. Maybe he will pick a better one that doesn't get blocked by corporate proxy servers.

It's expired, but looks like it's in a grace period. Wonder if there's a good way to get it renewed for him now, so that links at least don't break. (mod_rewrite can clean up the aftermath, if he does decide to change domains, after all.)

I think what cactux is saying is that we should help sixty pay for the renewal.

But I too liked the pics on his site, and would like to see them back. Maybe there could be a "girls" section added if the community chipped in. I wouldn't be able to contribute much seeing as the nixie chessboard project is gonna end up costing me over a grand with all the solid brass and such that I'm adding. And more when you consider the new tools. But 5€ is doable for me. And everyone who donates to the cause should get a custom title of sixty's choosing to spice things up. I wonder what names he would come up with.

I think that the domain name just expired. The cost of a domain name should not be the problem, and hosting neither (deskthority has a dedicated server which could host it for example).

Best wishes to sixty, whatever is going on there. Hopefully their magnificent collection will make a return either on keyboardporn or even if it just got merged with the wiki here or whatever. Would be a shame for all of those juicy keyboard pictures and info to disappear forever.
