The Mrinterface MouseEars Mod

A mod for your mouse.

It helps you to lift the mouse and move it from side to side without clamping it. This works very well for 3D games where you do this *A LOT*

Ingredients :
1. Mouse
2. High voltage Electric wire ( about 15 cm )
3. Strong adhesive wide tape.

Any comments are very welcome. Especially if you tried it yourself and give me feedback on the effectiveness of the method.

Interesting. The wire you used is stiff enough to support the mouse without deforming (too much)? I like the wire idea for prototyping the ideal shape, but I imagine using it as a template to make something more permanent would be good... maybe I'll try it with some Fimo.

On another note, I find the diamondplate background distracting, but I love the intro and logo.

your are a genius. Brilliant mod. Easy to do, costs nothing, brings only a very little weight gain and totally removable.
I will try it later today for shure.

*blush*

Thanx for the comments :-)

By the way -> I introduced the superscripted @ sign instead of a trademark(TM). This means the idea is by and for the community. You can do with it what you want, the only thing I ask is that you refer to the originator when you use/enhance it.

A note of warning though....

IF you try this mod and you then go back to a non-modded mouse, the mouse SUX!

Didn't think of that... :?

Yes, the wire is stiff enough. No problem keeping the position you mould it into.

Next time I'll use a different background :-)

Haven't had a problem with this myself but using the claw grip on the mouse for extended periods of time might give pains in the hand and this mod should reduce the stress on the hand.
