Saved those from the junk container:
G80-1000HAD with diodes
G80-3000LAADE without diodes
and a G81-3000LRNDE
all three really dirty and with cut of cables.

Felt like a treasure hunter

I wish I could find those treasures in the junk.

They look dirty but not yellowed.

The G80-1000 HAD has a label I've never seen before on a Cherry keyboard.

It must be an early model.

How stupid are these people?

Did you find gold and silver coins, or expired stamps as well?

Is that lock LED badge upside-down on the 1000? Or am I just seeing things?...

Yep, I wanted to remove dust with a vacuum cleaner and accidentally sucked in the badge.

About the keyboard: Whatever happened to the LED-sticker (uside down) the backlabel looks like it is an earlier model. Serial number is within the production run and says nothing about its age. You might need to open it up and look for stamped in dates. Please be careful: They are not water resistant, so you need to photograph them before cleaning, just in case ...

Also, there might be hints on the PCB from when it isand finaly you might find the month and year when the plastic shell ahs been produced!

This one is revision 9, one before 10, but please keep in mind that yours is with blacks (as I assume), mine is with blues.

I remember a discussion thread somewhere at a long gone forum with at least one long gone member that the earliest models had no n-key rollover, then some still early models had and then the rest of the G80-1000 hadn't.

Just opened the case:
Three stickers on the PCB: Cherry 613 1000HAD/00 and the second one: 1000HAD 23 90023923 Third one: 148
Date on the casing bottom: 24 August 1987
and on the top casing: 30. June 1987

The casing top was glued to the PCB with small lines of double faced adhesive tape.

25 years!

Of course you can upload the pictures to the wiki. Every picture I upload here I assume to be free to use for anybody.

I will take pictures as soon I got time to clean the keyboard.

A = 1988, so it had to be before then as there was no letter. You got a keyboard from the dark ages there. That thing's older than me...

Oh and be more careful with vacuums!

Very lucky finds. If you decide you have no use for the G80-3000laade let me know. I have been looking for low price on an ISO version G80-3000 winkeyless.

I have met quite a few people who wouldn't know what that meant..

Imagine finding something "made in Yugoslavia"!

Little update on this two keyboards: I soldered PS/2 cables to both of them and they still work.
I'm actually writing this text on the G80-1000.
Unfortunately I couldn't get them as clean as I wanted to. You can still see this bright spot at top of the G80-1000 which was caused by a sticker or sth.
