Day entertainment:
1. DUMPSTER : Since going to my local dumpster keyboard supplier is too far away ( 1 hour drive to get there ), I'll be dumping my own dumpster keyboard finds at the event location for you to browse through. Who knows what you'll find? Plus , it will clean up my attic considerably
2. C64 : I'm going to (finally) build my C64 keyboard on that day: http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/mec6 ... dore%20c64 Either watch or participate.
3. PROJECTS : I'll be showing you all my current interface related projects. If you guys are interested I can show you my other ( non-interface related ) projects as well.
4. QUICKTRIGGER : On that day, I'll be releasing my first computer interface software tool and it's called QuickTrigger.
5. SURPRISE : undisclosed......

Evening entertainment :
After the gathering , we will visit Eindhoven and have a nice meal at a local restaurant.

I will be there under the condition that Deskthority pays for my travel expenses from the USA to Netherlands.

All dates theoretically work for me, they are in my semester break...Ill have to see about transportation, perhaps ill borrow a car this time.

Yay, maybe I could even attend this, if I somehow manage to get there.

I guess, the earlier, the better. Also September 13 is my birthday, so I feel indifferent about September 14.

I'll start university in October afaik, and I would like some time before to get used to living somewhere else, so I voted for the first two dates.

I could take up to 3 guys. I start from Bonn, Cologne is not far away (if you come by plane) . From Bonn it's 187km to Best.

Well, I am not from Hamburg but I can easily get there. I don't have a car and it would be the cheapest option to find a lift from someone near me

The location is perfect for the purpose and I expect there enough people to do it within one week-end.


edit: I will let Melissa ship them directly to you so I don't need to bring them over from Berlin. Also, I will have less trouble with the customs ...

I usually like bars/restaurants which have party/event rooms for hire. Because you can be catered to the same time. Must be plenty in Eindhoven. I could also offer a very large place in Zeeland, but it would mean two hours more driving for the Germans - hardly near Eindhoven.

When you tell me where they check the speedlimits, it is only 45 minutes more driving.

I'm planning to go. I don't fly, but there seem to be good trains available. I will be in Essen the weekend before, and I think I will visit Amsterdam in the days between.

Eindhoven itself has an airport that is often used for "cheaper" flights so probably best to try that

I guess if anybody had a way of getting people from Hamburg to there, more people would attend (me included)
