I tried to remove the keycap with my fingers and failed. Don't have the keycap puller in the office.
Will take a picture tomorrow.

Oh, that explains why it looks like webwit's ;-)
They're genuine white complicated Alps then. I was studying the last photo (before I noticed you'd said it was his) — I can't see the "ALPS" logo at all, yet in webwit's photo of the same keyboard (see [wiki]Chicony KB-5181[/wiki]) the branding on the switch is clear.

Nice keyboard, shame about the big ass enter.

I was hoping it would be Monterey or Futaba, though that's still a steep price for a flimsy board.
I just noticed the Macro key — interesting. That's new to me. My KB-5182 didn't have one, nor does the KB-5181 pictured on the wiki.
Does the quick reference card suggest what that key is supposed to do? Moreover, since that's an ANSI board, where would a real ISO board put the Macro key, considering that the Macro key is where the 102nd key goes.
Looks like we have a variant of the KB-5181/2 …

Yeah, there is no ALPS logo on the switch.. didn't look at the others but I imagine they would be the same.
The manual doesn't mention the Macro switch. It's pretty much useless - the manual

Waitaminute — the Esc switch said "ALPS" on it when webwit had it, and doesn't say "ALPS" on it now?
You're either
mistaken, or it's a different keyboard, and it has fake Alps switches. All white Alps switches should say "ALPS" on them, although there may be some very early ones that didn't, as white was replacing blue.
