Come to think of it, on-the-spot beheadings for jay-walking wouldn't be such a bad idea.

where i live, if it's clear, you walk. and half the time, if there's a car coming, you walk anyway. and then slow down halfway through the crosswalk, turn your head and stare down the driver of the oncoming car as you shuffle through the road.
