Nichrome plate - yes or no?

So long story short, i was messing around in my garage and found some nichrome plates. It looks like 1mm thick. Now, the question is - could i lasercut a plate with these? I would try it out if i could, but lasercutting is pretty expensive here and on top of that i have to drive to another city for it.

After poking it with some random stuff from the garage i can at least say that it's pretty stiff but i can flex it easily. I don't understand either tbh.

A google search didn't give me much results.

If you want to use it as a plate for cherry MX switches, it needs to be 1.5 mm thick for the best result. If it's expensive to cut. I would just pay the additional for a thicker plate.

Will actually measure them once i come back. If it's not 1.5 then i guess im just gonna go with aluminum. They did look like 1mm though.
