M13 Removable usb cable mod

So, I recently got an M13, and a ps/2 -> usb converter that does keyboard and mouse, but the integrated cable was annoying :P, so I decided to mod it to use a detachable mini usb cable.

Bottom is a cable that connects to the M13's controller, turns it onto 2 ps/2 connectors, just a small clone of the original cable.
Middle is a female usb to female micro usb cable.
Scavenged the female usb connector, and one of the ps/2 connectors off a usb->ps/2 mouse adapter I had no use for.
The other ps/2 connector is from a shitty dome board, and the connector that plugs into the M13's controller is the cable that connects the power button pcb to the motherboard in a shitty old dell p4 I have. :P
None of the parts are from the original cable, so it can just be plugged back in at any time.

All connected up.

Connector in position.

Reeeealy tight squeeze to fit all that shit in there. It's enough of a pain putting this keyboard back together to get the mouse buttons in place, but this makes it infinitely more finicky.

The connector from the outside.

Cable plugged in.
