Re: Crashing current prices for IBM Model M
I may be interested in a known good membrane from one of the 122 key's if you've got one in your hoard depending on how mine is once I dig into it.

Re: IBM Model M 1394620 122-Key US ISO Layout
Yep, that was why...but in the end I worked backwards from a firmware layout file I received and placed keycaps accordingly. It may not be 100% correct but....

Long shot but this is the best place to ask...does anyone have a clear photo of the layout on an IBM Model M 1394620 122-Key US ISO Layout?

Re: What happened to the Blue Cube adapters?
Why not use this chance to upgrade to the Bluetooth/USB controller board and skip the cables/adapters altogether?

Re: Keyboard Firmwares: a survey of controllers and converters
I am surprised nobody has mentioned Jorn and his wonderful viewtopic.php?t=17388 BL-USB Bluetooth Model M Controller Conversions. This solves the issue right at the root instead of trying to adapt.

Re: What's the best way to clean keycaps?
I recently pulled the key caps and stems from my Model M 122 key.
Cleaning them was a breeze thanks to this thread!
This was my process:
- Pulled all key caps and stems from the keyboard.
- Separated the stems from the key caps.
- 1 plastic container for stems.

Re: IBM Model M - Reproduction Labels?
If you don't need the Bluetooth side of things (I hate wires!) it is still very useful as it does allow for USB. I'm not too familiar with the Soarers features but the new controller board solves everything I'd want it to do.

IBM Model M - Reproduction Labels?
I recently picked up an IBM Model M 122 for restoration/modification, this site has been an absolute godsend so thank you to all!
