Sonny - I have keys that are dimmer. They don't flicker or dim. They come on and stay dimmer than the other keys.

Sonny... They have a Facebook page, but I deactivated my account, and would rather not reactivate it. If you have an account, please let me know what you find out.

What if you pull the keys off and take a look at the LED? Isn't it about the same level as the other ones.

Still half as bright.

The lettering on the caps and the position of the LED (bottom of the switch) tricks the eye. At least if i'm looking at the keyboard.

There were a few GH threads on problems with the backlighting on the Race and/or Pure failing after some weeks/months of use. Any further word on this? I just received a Race, and it came with 5 keys where the backlighting is dim (about half as bright as the other keys, at all levels of brightness).

Thanks to all... There's a bunch of small things I want to order from WASD (mostly spares), so I don't think the shipping will be so bad.

That's what I thought. So, either I lost one on the floor (the first time I pulled the key), or Noppoo's QC missed it. Either way, I need to get a WASD order together (so that the parts to shipping costs ratio doesn't suck too much).

Hey Ripster... It's the Backspace key... Do some only use 1 insert?

After more messing around with the Mini, I realized that I hadn't broken off the slot of the Enter key - I had simply pulled the piece out of it's socket. So, I returned the three keys to the way they originally were (with the stabilizers), to await lubricant. However, I discovered that the ...

Ended up removing the stabilizers in both the Enter and Backspace keys, and think I'll buy and use some heavy lube to quiet the Spacebar. Paper is a sloppy and tedious way to handle this annoyance.
