Can anybody share long-term experiences with the unlit keycaps? I know, they are not special or anything, but I would still be interested on how durable the lettering is. I saw mechanicalkeyboards.com sells them at the moment and I'm thinking of downgrading my pure to an unlit version. Of course ...

There's a possibility for you to have more typos on Reds because of how light they are and that there is no "bump" to get over. However, if you are a decently accurate typist, you shouldn't have too many problems. Like any mechanical switch they will take some getting used to, but I find them quite ...

My favorite part about this keyboard are the Fn layer arrows directly under your left hand on the home row. I can see myself using a combination of the dedicated arrow keys and the Fn layer arrow keys depending on how much text editing I'm doing at the time. Also, having gotten used to the Pure's Fn ...

Now go and get it to satisfy your own curiosity.

Heh, I need time to properly form my argument for my wife. Usually I just say "what if you get another bag and I get another keyboard?" But at $300 that's a tough argument to make!

The diamond shape keys were a little bit to get used to, but much more naturally than getting used to the Pure's entire layout, and I'll explain the layout I think would be better for the Pure later. But, if you want to have an arrow-lock feature the HHKB doesn't have that, which was the one ...

For people with the HHKB, how do you like the arrow key positioning? That is the biggest turn off for me because I'm just so used to the inverted-T layout of arrow keys. It also seems like it would be quite a stretch to reach Home/End.

I love 60% keyboards both for the aesthetic reasons and the ...

On to the switches, I guess:

Greens : This is amazing! It feels like a really meaty blue. Lots of pushback, and a very pronounced click. I would happily type on a board full of these. It's a pity there's only one on the pad.

Carter on Geekhack posted a purposely vague and ominous thread ...

So I've had a couple of days to play around and hammer on this thing. This was great for me and I've been looking forward to getting it for awhile since I have only tried blues and browns.

I traded in a couple things to the surprise bag, but it didn't have as much in it as I was expecting. I put a ...

Be very fast at backspacing and get a feel for how many letters you need to backspace without really looking at the word. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like mistakes are inevitable so if you can recover from them quickly then you can maintain a decent wpm.
