I dunno if I agree. as feasible as "cloud storage"(I fucking hate the expression) may or may not become, how will that storage still not be faster and cheaper in your own machine? Not to mention, some of us want to keep certain data OFF the cloud.

so what counts as the 1500th post? The one that rolls the front page counter to 1500 (which you likely wont be able to calculate), or http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?p=1500 ?

Currently reading:

- The Walking Dead comics (ongoing, waiting for the next hardcover, volume 7, to come out). Comics usually aren't my thing.
- Real World Color Managment-2nd ed. This is a totally well written and enjoyable technical book, if you enjoy the subject matter.

No novels at present.

I think technically if you take the "old" view, C/C++ would also be considered "high-level" languages. Brian8bit's mention of menuetOS supports that theory.

The out-dated and antiquated languages are also the most efficient in that they're low level.

I can agree with that, but I can argue it too. We all share the same definition of "efficient", but how it plays out in our lives is different.

High level is fluff that masks the laziness and ...
