Hey guys! At my job at the thrift shop I have also been able to pic up an Acer 6311! However after attempting a restoration I'm gonna have to conclude that the Matrix is kinda buggered, the home row barely registers and all other keys are hit or miss.
Sad news indeed, I don't think I'm gonna attempt fixing it myself out of fear of breaking it further, it's discoloured but in pretty decent physical shape beyond that.

On that note if anyone near ish happens to want an Acer 6311 hmu and I'll yeet it your way, otherwise it'll stick around for spares.

That’s too bad you have a matrix problems. Hopefully you can resolve the issue but if not you at least have a decent sent of alps mountain gray caps!
