That’s the first I’ve heard someone speak kindly of them. A few years ago, a regular theme on DT was people linking industrial IBM XT keyboards, and various of us pointing out these were NOT Model Fs, but Oak inside. People’s reaction was always the same: good save, guys! It’s like they were rubber dome Unsavers. Such hope, dashed!

I guess most people just haven't tried it yet because of the name. I wasn't going to buy any either, it's just a coincident that my Ge Fanuc computer have this type of switch. That's how I found out it's actually good.

Second one looks like DEC LK401-AA, so jusrt fancy rubber dome?
Third one is Lite-on made by silitek by those FCC ID and number model gives me nothing
First one is DTK but again, googling it gives me nothing.

Works for me. That's the one I just bought. I don't mind these switches at all but I didn't buy it for the keyboard. I bought it because it's a re-branded IBM 5155. I like oddballs

You're welcome. I bought it for the computer too, but I dont think the workmaster I is a rebrand 5155. They have different internals and different dimensions, not to mention ibm is not to be found anywhere on the hardware. However, the workmaster I does have ibm bios, so it's a mystery.

The oak membrane is a very nice switch. Dont look at the name, I have two boards with this type switch and they're all very smooth linear.

Alright, note taken. The seller is asking roughly $130 for the monitor and machine, and isn't sure if it's working or not. While I'd really love to own the machine, I'm not sure if now is the time..

A friend of mine had a board like the top two ICLs and it felt mushy, linear and unlikable.

I had identical board but with Nokia brand name on top, keyboards even for robber dome keyboard feels weird. Good thing about this keyboard is that it have connection cable that is compatible with IBM keybords with due to SDL connector. It is sometimes cheaper to buy old ICL's/Nokia rubber dome keyboard for SDL cable.

Does anybody known anything about BORK BK-951/K keyboard available here https://allegro.pl/oferta/retro-klawiat ... 8560561062 seller says that it is a hall effect board, but the switches do not look as any hall effect switch that I come across (key caps looks fine, but some are missing).

Second pic I can see a model M looking thing, except it has windows keys (might be a unicomp) and a dell at101(?) and an NEC APC H412. First picture is rather lackluster though.

Sadly, no, and FYI it's located in Norway, shipping tends to be obnoxiously high when shipping things abroad.
But with that said I could get in touch with him for you if you're interested.

I picked up a dozen or so old boards today (including several of ALPS & 3x NEC APCs, not sure if it's interesting enough to make a new thread about though), and most of them were easily identifiable. However, I couldn't find much info about this one. Looks to have SMK vintage linear, but nothing more than that. I assume the Apple logo is just glued on top, not related to the board. Does anyone know who made it/what the connector and protocol is? Is it possible to disassemble/clean these switches? Thanks

As a side, I posted way back in April with a terrible photo of an unidentifiable keyboard. Today curiosity got the better of me, and I finally went and got that as well. Turns out it was a Qtronix QX201 with MX Blues. Almost none of the switches click (is there a fix for this?), so the point I guessed they were dirty Blacks before pulling a cap. This is a laser projection keyboard that is currently in the off

Does anyone have a clue as to what keyboard this is or what switches it has? I searched through the entire list of keyboards on the DT wiki but couldn't find anything that looks like it. No branding is present other than a slot-in function key legend for WordPerfect, and any other angle or close-up of the keyboard was never taken as this is the only image. What's notable, though, is that it's stored in the wrong box, meant instead for the TUV ACK-200 (a rubber dome), which even the eBay seller believed the keyboard to be called; It also appears to have TH double shots (but I could be wrong)

edit: looking through this thread it seems this is a Tai-Hao keyboard with APC switches.

I want to use this keyboard with my modern pc and it has some weird connector ive never seen...need to know how to get it converted to ps2 so I can use a ps2 to usb converter and use it with my pc
