I will personally support that undertaking ANY way I can!

I am glad to hear that the post is useful. It is a great keyboard.
I have not tried what you are asking for but the likelihood that it will work is very high. The original layout is fully populated but for the "0-ins" and "enter" keys.
I am not sure on the original controller , but all the pads are connected so it would work if you went the replacement controller route.
Thanks the report.
I am using my F107s instead of this keyboard for this same reason. I guess it is just a matter of getting use to it, but it takes some time.
Wait so its impossible?XMIT wrote: Oh my, you're absolutely right. Moreover, they are missing the pad on the back side necessary for functional cap sensing.
Redmaus and I (and dorkvader by association) were discussing how to wire these up. Apparently dorkvader suggested using copper trace tape as it may be about the correct thickness to simulate a pad. (The size of the pad, the dielectrical materal, and the distance/spacing matter much more than the thickness of the copper per se, recalling the definition of a capacitor.)
Long story short: it won't just work - but I wonder how difficult it would be to get it working. The lack of a proper inverted numeric keypad is the main thing I don't like about the F122.
This is not hard to do, but use care.
