Were can I get an All 45Grams weighted Topre Realforce 87U?

Hi,

Does anybody know how I can get my hands on an All 45Grams Topre Realforce 87U?

Elitekeyboards mentions it, but they are sold out for a very long time now. Wondering if I can get it through leopold.co.kr? They don't have an english version of their website so I really don't know how to order it there.

Any help guys?

Out of stock at EK, unknown arrival date.
For Leopold, from what I can understand, they do have the uniform 45g 104U but they are sold out.

Only alternative for now is the 88U ISO at KBC or the 91U japanese layout

EK supposedly will have more later but no ETA. EK doesn't give ETA anyway. I missed the original batch as well because I bought an 87UB variable first to go with my yellow topre keycaps. By the time I decided that I also want a white 87U 45g, they were all gone. I think they were gone with in 3 weeks. I got lucky and bought someone else's 2 month-old 87UW45g last week on geekhack.

Buy normal Realforce and HHKB, then swap rubber sheets

I've got a variable weighted HHKB and all 45g Realforce 101 with this method.

This. It's a good swap. The HHKB feels better with lighter domes, and you get a uniform RF.

is only the normal typing area of a variable realforce variable? what are all the F keys, etc?

On a variable weighted Realforce, only the ESC key is 55g. If you touch type, all your pinky keys are 35g. Everything else is 45g, including the modifiers that you normal would hit with your pinky fingers. So yes, the F keys are 45g.

Are you thinking about modding the pinky keys to 45g by using the rubberdomes under the F keys?

I don't own a Topre yet, not sure if I actually want one, but when I do get one, I want it to be uniform 45g or uniform 30g (still need to try that though) so I was just looking at options. I had no idea a swap like that was possible.
