Ascai has an M5-rubberdome and I have the internal parts of a Model M.
Is it possible to swap in the Model M into the M5 case and make use of the trackball?
M5-rubberdome to buckling spring conversion possible?

What controller are you using? The trackball plugs into the right hand side of the Unicomp controller IIRC. Is their this on a normal model M controller? I can check for you later but it would involve digging out 2 keyboards from boxes and opening the both...

I can take pics of the insides for you if you like. I know for a fact that the traces of the model M assembly do not fit the m5-rd controller.

Thanks!
Would be great if we could turn it into the real thing!

OK, tried last night. They all fit together but I don't have a lead to check if it works... I have a split lead coming with my industiral m13, this should work for testing right? Also your controller looks different to mine.
