Hi
I have a model m 122key that I modded with soarers converter. And I also bought clear tops for the keycaps.
What I would like to do now is to make own inlays for the keys.
But the problem is the background colour on the inlays. I have no clue what colour code I should use. And trial and error would be quite costly I believe.
The colours I need is the bright beiges(keycaps),gray(keycaps) and the colour of the case.
For those who don't know the keyboard I attach a picture:

Just print on a transparent film for overhead projector :D
That's what I have done for several of my Tipro relegendables.

Aaaah!
Why haven't I thought about that! Will try that.
But I would like as well to have the codes. Because without the caps all keys are the same colour and I would like aswell to try to get from the "clear" colour.

And there are no problem with a inkjet printer with the overhead films? Or what do you use?

Mine is a laser printer, the film I now use is "Geha F01" but I had several brands and no problems with any.
Those polyester films cannot be printed with an inkjet printer, but there is a turnaround:
print on normal paper and have you print copied on a transparent sheet at your copyshop

There are special transparent films for inkjet printers, which mustn't be used in laser printers. Normally these have a rougher texture so that the ink adheres better. Just ask at a local store.

Thanks. I realized that we have it on my job(from xerox). We have about 9000 different products and sometimes you miss one of them :D .
Thanks for the help BTW.

Anyone have a calibrated screen and model m keyboard that can check the colour as well?
