Maybe the connection can be routed at the side? There seems to be more space there.
It'd have to be made from some sort of NASA grade material though.

Something like that but a lot more complicated since the piece connecting the two parts together would block the switch from going down this way.
This probably increases the price a lot and you'd need some really strong material for it but I think being able to use all kinds of different caps locks ...

Wouldn't it be possible to make an adapter to fit off-center stemmed caps on center stemmed keyboards?
I compared the two and it seemed like there'd be place for an adapter, though it'd have to be small and from a very strong material.
One end would be like a cherry switch, the other like a keycap ...

Yes, this is the same size as the Filco tenkeyless daughter board. (The full size Filcos use another daughter board.) I am quite confident that this will work with the "gen 1" tenkeyless as well. Someone at geekhack said his "gen 1" had the same revision of the daughter board.

Cherry MX greens: worth it?

Are these switches worth it? I loved my buckling spring keyboard but it was too old-fashioned so it had to go.
I assume MX greens would please even some heavy bear-hands?
Also, would these be okay for gaming? Has anyone tried a keyboard fully loaded with them?

Is it possible that there will be more colors in the future?
I'd sure be interested in a lighter/darker grey set with the same black letters and the same profile for my modifier keys.

How would one go about building a keyboard using the MKC case?
Cannibalize a Filco?
