Re: Razer Huntsman v2 analog keyboard review (Light Strike Libra Analog)
Yes, Chyros "the Keynfluencer" should make keyboard prices go up and down inversely proportional to their value through such videos. I mean, that is exactly the real purpose of politics, right?

Re: Blinking lights on KB using PS/2 adapter
If testing with an USB converter, perhaps using a virtual machine (with VirtualBox for example) that runs Linux could be an alternative. There are ready-made Linux virtual machines out there too, you don't even need to install them, just Machine->Add. VirtualBox should then allow explicit direct ...

Re: Asus Eee Note EA800 (e-book reader/drawing tablet)
Thanks for the quick answer! I'll search a bit more about the possibility of updating its Linux innards (I see Asus has the free parts on its support page: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/EA-800 ... _Download/).
Re: Asus Eee Note EA800 (e-book reader/drawing tablet)
Assuming this is still for sale, I have a couple of questions (sorry if already answered):
- battery usage (how much can you work on it between recharges)
- can one upgrade, or replace the Linux distribution that the device runs?
I managed to install Linux on a newish cheap Chinese tablet ...

Re: Genius idea of the day
I'm afraid all this USB power/data direction handling stuff is way over my head, unfortunately :/ Some new tablets have larger batteries, I think the simplest would be to just rely on that tablet's internal battery and let the keyboard draw from it too; and in the end, you have to charge just one ...

Re: Genius idea of the day
On https://thingiverse.com there are a lot of designs for iPad/tablets stands - one adapted to have a base handle gripping on the keyboard to keep the iPad at the right viewing angle (and maybe pushed further back) could do the trick - but you need to design it and print it (there are 3d-printing ...

Re: Genius idea of the day
Indeed, but this wouldn't be a big problem - that's the joy of 3d printing, you design something just for you :) And the battery idea is great (especially for older tablets), if either the tablet allows charging and keyboard detection at the same time; otherwise an extra switch (charge/OTG) could do ...

Re: keyboard layout PT
Don't rush it, maybe browse some more this forum (and the wiki), see what keyboards people recommend? Then see what switch type you like (tactile, clicky, linear etc.). This store has some better keyboard brands for example: https://mykeyboard.eu/catalogue/category/mechanical-keyboards_3 ...

Re: keyboard layout PT
Hi (and welcome!), just to make sure, you know that you can choose PT layout input in your operating system, it's not keyboard dependent: i.e. there will be a mismatch between some of the keycap legends and what you actually type when you press them. If that's ok for you, you can buy any ANSI (US ...

Re: Stuff you just bought
I bought a 3d printer ("Ender 3X", 200$ shipping included, from a warehouse in Europe no less!). Since then, and because I have the keyboards I want (Topre etc.), I rarely visit here :( 3d printing finally became cheap and good, and opens nearly-infinite possibilities (imagine making your own cases ...

Wow, the reply I sent you in November 2018 appears as "Yesterday", must be a forum bug. Also, I've sent you some PMs at that time, and you still didn't come up with any pictures of the keyboard (or you have sent the PM to yourself by mistake). Just saying, if you want to trade, you have to show the ...

Yes, beautiful game, finished it three times - lots of innuendos, bad puns, jokes and text that makes fun of you (since basically you have to "say" / type whatever the game authors want) to throw you off ... and the final levels really put your skill at work, you have to type a. fast, b. accurate ...
