Source.Developer Jon Nordby has posted a video demo of the on-screen keyboard Maliit — intended "to be the input method project for MeeGo and other GNU/Linux-based embedded/mobile platforms" — working on a tablet running Gnome 3 under Fedora.

The swipes for special characters were the only good thing because ordinary keyboards can't do that.

Leaving aside the on screen keyboard, I've been using Gnome shell a lot lately, and it's really good.
