I'm in the market for a mechanical keyboard because I'm sick of my Logitech G19. I type a lot and figured cherry blues will be the best for me. Ideally, I'd want a tenkeyless keyboard with a standard UK ISO layout. I looked at the Filco Majestouch 2 but the price is about £109 with VAT and the prices are going up soon. The Poker looks nice but doesn't have the big Enter key and the only other thing is I play Starcraft 2 and use the arrow keys a lot. Any help would be great.
Thanks.
Suggestions for a keyboard?

What do you use the arrow keys for in sc2?

Moving around the minimap, although come to think of it, I don't really use them that much I suppose. If I could get a UK ISO layout Poker or Ducky DK1087, that would be awesome. I know Filcos are good but the price for it is just too much for me at the minute.

Not really on topic, but your keyboard hand should be far too busy to "tweak", as it is called, with the arrow keys.Mackem wrote:Moving around the minimap, although come to think of it, I don't really use them that much I suppose. You can hold and drag the mousewheel to move the screen or just drag the pointer to the edge of the screen, saves a lot of time.
Just a quick tip if you're looking to improve, if you're happy with your playstyle and where you are, then just keep on doing that.

If you need arrow keys on a Poker you can switch on an arrow cluster in the bottom right of the board if you don't mind losing the other use of the 4 keys that are affected. This is done with Function+Space so can be flicked on and off in a moment if desired (but that's not really the idea).
If have a PokerX and I am happy to suggest that it a good value proposition.
The design and construction is to not up to Japanese standards but the price more than makes up for that in my opinion.
The only issue for gamers would be that the Poker is always going to be less robust than a steel plate board like a FILCO so if you hammer the board you will targeting the weakest part of the package. Not that the Poker is fragile but it is less robust than the more solidly built options.
