Looking for a keyboard for the office, and i'm sorta stupidly into boards with reactive lighting - because apparently i'm juvenile like that. The razer bw chrome TE looks like a reasonable TKL board, but they're using their new proprietary switches. Anyone have an opinion on these?

They're not great. I tried them on a friend's Razer Blackwidow and was really unimpressed. I show him a Poker 2 with legit MX blues afterwards and he said the difference was like night and day. There's some variance there, like maybe he just likes the clickiness vs. the tactile fake MX browns. Still, I wasn't impressed with them either.

No experience with the orange ones, but greens are so bad I genuinely thought it was a tester board with multiple kinds of switches while trying them out in a store. Let alone different weight, some of them felt like tactile or even linear! They all sounded surprisingly similar though, so I guess that's their QA criteria(on the low chance they have any).
