If you want more pictures or information about certain 'boards, just ask.

I'm nearing the end of my active collecting phase. I've also sold off most of the "doubles" in my collection, as it is meant to be representative and not comprehensive. If I see something rare that can replace a keyboard in my collection I'll still pick it up, but for the most part I won't be adding or selling anything.

I still plan to convert a few of the other keyboards, such as the Panasonic KX, but some of the unconverted ones will stay that way if they don't interest me as short term daily drivers. Maybe I'll convert them if I get bored.

I'm particularly proud of my Lexmark collection, so here's a group shot. I also have a Lexmark corporate t shirt.

AT&T Buckling Spring 122

This beauty is NOS with its original box. I have photos in another topic if you want to see it from other angles.

AT&T Buckling Spring 305B

A few scuffs, dings, and replacement keycaps. Still pretty, though.

Cherry/Tandem G80-1080HAU

Appears unused. Caps are in great shape, less one ding on the left Ctrl key. Didn't even need to clean it.

Brown Alps. Dyesub caps. Cool hinges. Ultra-rare system.

IBM Displaywriter

Deep cleaned. PTFE lubed. USB converted with an Xwhatsit. Retractable cable. The works.

Snuci sent this to me as a secret Santa gift. ANSI modded during cleaning.

Once again, a frankenstein. It uses a Unicomp industrial case, donor guts, and a PCB badge.

White KPT clones. Stupidly clicky. Surprisingly nice switches.

KSI-1293

MX Blacks. Trackpoint. NIB.

Laser IFS80-2269-1

Appears unused. SMK 2nd. Gen. MX Mount switches.

Lexmark M122

It's big and colorful. The blue text on the lock sticker is alluring.

Lexmark M13, Erase-Eaze

This is a real gem. One piece caps. Had to fix a crack in the barrel frame, which wasn't a big deal with liquid solvent and carefully applied pressure. Bolt modded.

Lexmark M15

I call it the CCP-15. Scavenged the caps from a Russian M2.

Lexmark Model M

Bolt modded. Otherwise standard.

Lexmark SSK

Will eventually be a lot_lizard FSSK.

Magicforce 68

Gateron Clears and dyesub caps. O-rings. My gaming and travel keyboard.

OEMMAX MCK-101

Token Blue Alps keyboard. Bigfoot clone. Switches are in okay condition, but not excellent.

Texas Instruments 911

The Hall Effect switches in this are absolutely ruined with grit, so it's mostly a showpiece. Beautiful caps.

"Simplified Damped White Alps" — you mean complicated, surely?

I don't know if "vomit" ML switches are in bad condition or if you just hate them even when in good condition. I'm curious whether the "robust" type (ML1B-11JW) with the taller guide shaft are less prone to binding, as binding is the only serious fault. (They're scratchy, but that doesn't bother me.)

I also have a set of Cherry wob doubleshots that were on the XMIT board originally, but I was sent Hawaii for review. I didn't feel like changing the caps back at 4 AM.

Have you tried another, possibly better, blue alps board? You mentioned that they weren't that special on the one you have.

Yes. I had a near mint DC-3014 that I sold to a collector in South Korea for $420 + shipping.

I sold it because I felt guilty about typing on it and slowly ruining its switches, which were perfect.

I don't want to damage any of my expensive 'boards while traveling and I like light linear switches for gaming, so the Magicforce is a perfect fit. Gateron Clears are smooth and easy to replace. I also fixed the stock keycap issue with PBT dyesubs.

My laptop bag is full enough as it is, so taking along anything larger or nicer would just result in pain (both back pain and "oh crap I hurt this innocent keyboard" pain).

My travel board these days is a lubed Hypersphere'd HHKB with a hasu PCB for improved power consumption. I keep it in a bubble mailer for protection. I also travel with a Logitech Marble Mouse.

Topre doesn't appeal to me, but I envy the people who like it. It seems so likeable, but it's too cushy for my tastes.

Throwing it in the bag is my M.O., so XMIT is much gentler than I am. My G502 gets the same treatment, but in a less crowded pocket.

And OP's profile said he is using the gigantic IBM DisplayWriter as his main keyboard?? That design has a StarTrek look to it.

I think the TI 911 has the design look to it, EAMES era design look, which is lacking in most of the other articles in the collection.

The TI 911 is, in my opinion, the most aesthetically pleasing keyboard in my collection. The level of symmetry it exhibits really sets it apart.

For the photo shoot setup, I really like that you put every keyboard on the same wooden board (from a school desk. Isn't it a school desk?) - it works really well for the viewer to put into perspective about the size and dimension.

A coin won't do the work nor a mouse or mouse pad, while the whole setup monitor etc will be distracting.

I think it's a home-built TV tray, as it folds up.

I actually don't remember acquiring it, but it's slightly lower than other surfaces in the house so it works nicely for photographing keyboards.

The TI 911 is quite the looker! Shame about the switches though.
That Displaywriter is amazing though, one of the cleanest I've ever seen.

I ran the key caps of that TI 911 through the ultrasonic cleaner before shipping it back off to ohaimark (we found it here in Texas in December). I can't remember if I ran the sliders and switch housings through.

I think that maybe the switches could be saved with further cleaning, and a light wet sand.
